 Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center
The new 633,000 square foot SJRMC in Mishawaka was an incredible project to be a part of. As the major low voltage technology contractor for the job we provided the nurse call, paging, televisions, and complete security for the entire facility. After countless hours of investigating the right technology for patient care communication, the hospital ultimately decided on the Rauland Borg Responder IV with the Responder NET interface. In making this decision the hospital was able to merge their wireless telephone system with the nurse call, giving the nursing staff the ability to answer patient calls immediately. Thus patient care is delivered faster and hospital satisfaction scores continue to grow.
 The Community Hospital of Munster
Community Hospital of Munster has proven their dedication to improving patient care technologies by implementing the Rauland Responder IV with Responder Net and the Tracer Nurse Locating system for their new ED and West Tower projects. They also integrated the nurse call with Ascom wireless phones for faster patient communication and a house wide redundant phone system for risk management. By combining all of these technologies the hospital is able to get real time data on the amount of time nurses are actually giving care to patients. Community Hospital took the technology a step further, thus improving patient even more, by adding large display boards which shows the nurses and the rooms they are assigned to. This gives the physicians the ability to walk onto the floor and immediately see who is caring for their patient. This was accomplished with the Responder Net and the interface to the hospitals ADT system.
 White County Memorial Hospital
White County Memorial Hospital built a replacement hospital in 2008. We were brought in as a direct partner with the owner to help design the entire low voltage technology package for both the hospital and the adjacent medical office building. We worked side by side with the owner to develop the plan for the Siemens fire alarm, Rauland nurse call, DSX card access, NEC phone system and many more of the technology systems. We estimate by the hospital hiring us direct rather than going through the traditional bid process we saved the hospital roughly $200,000.
 Memorial Hospital of South Bend
As a long time partner with Memorial Hospital of South Bend, we have enjoyed the privilege of working on numerous projects with several departments. The most recent and ongoing project is the new Surgery Center, or North Pavillion. We have expanded the existing Rauland Responder IV nurse call system into the Surgery project as well as provide them with additional DSX card access control systems. In this facility of over 1,000,000 square feet, a 450-bed facility, Communication Company works with Security, Biomed, Telecommunication, Nursing, and Information Technology groups. We truly partner with Memorial Hospitals Security Team performing upgrades to the CCTV Security systems with over (150) cameras and over a dozen networked Digital Video Recorders; DSX Access Control System, both on the “Campus” as well as at remote sites. Working with the Bio-Telecom group we are responsible for the upgrade and maintaining the in house sound and paging system as well as the multi-channel TV network. With Nursing and Bio-Med we have installed a networked Nurse Call System that offers call process report management. We are proud of our Memorial Health Systems Partnership!
