Communication Company Announces The Northern Indiana Fire Safety Forum Tour August 7-9 in Three Cities

Communication Company and vendor partners Siemens, Xtralis, and RSI have created the Northern Indiana Fire Safety Forum events which will tour in three Northern Indiana cities August 7, 8 and 9.

  • August 7 will be held at Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne.

  • August 8 will be held at the SB Technology Resource Center in South Bend.

  • August 9 will be held at The Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster.

The agenda below explores the latest fire safety technologies presented by speakers from Siemens, Xtralis, RSI, and Communication Company. Two CEU credits are earned by participants attending this event. The same agenda will be covered at each location from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.

  • Larry Rhodes is the Territory Manager for MI, OH, and IN at Siemens Industry. He is NICET Level 3 certified and has served in fire safety senior sales positions at Siemens for over 28 years. Siemens is a technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. Siemens building technologies has a global footprint with decades of experience as a system integrator, service provider, and product vendor offering energy-efficient, safe and secure buildings and infrastructure.
     

  • Chris Martin is the Senior Key Account Manager at Xtralis - North America. Xtralis has been a pioneer in life safety for over 30 years and is the world’s largest manufacturer of very early warning aspirating smoke detection (ASD) systems, including VESDA, the world's No. 1 ASD brand, and developed the industry’s first video motion detection technologies. Xtralis leads the market in very early warning fire detection.
     

  • Derek Case is the Global Director of Marketing & Business Development for Radio Solutions, Inc. (RSI), and he joined the RSI business in 2019. Derek was previously the General Manager of the Global BDA Systems Business for Honeywell Fire, after being promoted from the ERCES / BDA Program Manager role he held since July 2017. Prior to that, Derek was the Global Director of Strategic Marketing, Business Development, and M&A for Honeywell Fire & Security since 2015. Derek serves as a member of the NFPA 1225 ERCES Technical Committee as the Automatic Fire Alarm Association’s / Alternate.
     

  • Dan Schmitendorff is the CEO of Communication Company. For over 30 years, he has served as an engineer, trusted advisor, and systems integrator for the company's customers assisting them with protecting assets in the most critical environments.
